After completing a 20 year sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections, I decided to enjoy life on purpose. I have started a few successful companies. Everything from computer repair to real estate investments to trucking. After selling most of the real estate portfolio I got married and moved to Durham, North Carolina in 2020. After arriving my wife and I started another company to help individuals re-entering society (ex-offenders), called Fresh / Second. The company's mission is to acquire real estate and provide housing for those in need after incarceration. After teaming up with local non-profit re-entry organizations to make difference, we can create a sense of belonging and reduce the stigmas associated with re-entry. Amen!
